Jean,
I love this! Can you tell me where I can get the dimesions for both outer and insert cards? I would live to use this as a gift card holder for the tweenagers in my life!
Hi,
This is called a criss cross card. I don't know if you looked at my older posts, but there are 5 more posted earlier. I love making them.
Here are the directions.
2 pieces of 4 1/4 x 11 cardstock
score each at 5 1/2 inches
1 piece of 4x5 designer paper, cut in 1/2 diagonally
Cut the 2 large pieces in opposite diagonal directions from the scored mark.
Overlap the 2 square pieces and tape together.
Fold the slanted pieces, and tape along the bottom.
Tape the designer paper on top of the slanted pieces.
Insert: 3 3/4 x 5
top layer of insert: 3 1/2 x 4 3/4
Wrap a "belly band" 1 1/2 x 12 around the card or wrap ribbon around it.
These are great for gift cards or recipes. Have fun making it!
Jean
