About Me
- Jean Thomas
- Hi. I am a first grade teacher and an avid card maker. I love to be creative in both ways. I have been teaching for 25 years. I have been a first grade teacher, second grade teacher, third grade teacher and reading specialist. I have loved all of these jobs. I have an undergraduate degree in elementary education and a master's degree in early childhood education. I am certified in Reading Recovery instruction and have National Board certification. I like to teach my students to make cards for special occassions, like I do. It is a fun hobby and a special way to communicate. I even sell my cards at school. I am a volunteer at the Frazee Dream Center and am thankful for the help and support they provide to our students. I hope to use this blog to keep parents involved in their child's school life, to motivate students and increase their knowledge of technology, and to interact with our blog audience.

Jean - I love this card! Is that one we could make at the Nov. stamp camp? I might want to do that.
