Terrific Kids

Congratulations to Connor Haynes and Marley Leventis for being selected as Terrific Kids this quarter! I'm proud of them.

100th day!

Can you believe we have been in school for 100 days? We had fun sharing our collections of 100 things. We had marshmellows, trading cards, pennies, paperclips, legos, and more. We had a snack of 100 items. Students went through the line and counted out 100 pieces of raisins, goldfish, blueberries, pretzels, chocolate chips, and cereal. That was a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone for sending snack items and water bottles.

computer problems

I just wanted to let you know that I haven't posted in awhile because I have been having computer problems at home and at school. I am eager to get back into blogging. Stay tuned.

Welcome Back

We had a great day back at school after a nice vacation. We are now learning how to tell time. We have talked about the difference between digital and analog clocks. We are learning about the hour hand and the minute hand. Please talk to your child about the ways that we use clocks to measure time.......getting to school on time, appointments, cooking, etc. I want them to have an awareness of different clocks, why we use clocks, how we tell time, where we see clocks, etc. Take time to show your child what time you eat dinner, go to bed, leave the house for school, etc. This will be very helpful as we learn to tell time! Thanks!
